In the past 18 years, Richard Arroyo has become known for his talent, versatility and imagination in many of the entertainment fields including feature films, animation, video games and television. By 2011, Richard joined iAnimate.net, being one of the responsible for creating and developing the games, rigging, motion capture and creature programs. In 2012 he became a member of the Visual Effects Society for his expertise and professionalism in the field of Visual Effects, Animation and Games. Since 2013, he help create two major events held within north america (EffectsMTL & Pixel Animation) and is know to speak at many other events around the world.
Previously, Richard spent six years working in California as an Art Lead, Animation Supervisor, Lead Animator, or Animator. During his journey as an artist, he has worked on notable projects such as Splinter Cell, Prince of Persia, Karateka, Thor, RainBow Six, Aliens, FarCry and Oddworld Soulstorm...
As of August 2016, he holds the titles of Animation Studio Director at Gameloft, Partner & Head of Games at iAnimate.net, Programs Director at Pixel Animation, and as an Animation Instructor at Dawson College. He also know to consults, trains, speaks and frequently present lectures and workshops worldwide at various events.
